71 4wd Blazer parking brake routing

4 Attachment(s)
Ok, I've been searching and looking at several of the threads on parking brake cable parts and routing. I haven't seen any photos of a 4wd Blazer cable routing. I'm trying to sort out what the PO has on my 71 Blazer. It looks to me like the intermediate cable is too long on mine. It measured at about 69.5 inches. But it looks like some of the guides are wrong or missing as well. My cable makes a big "Z" shape and is run through an obviously homemade looking eye bolt in a crossmember just forward of the rear diff.

Does anyone have pics of a 71 4wd Blazer intermediate cable and the guides? Are the guides the same as the pickups or different for a Blazer? I need to know who much of mine is wrong.

That's perfect!! Thanks. Anyone sell these parts new or is used the only way to go? I see a few places that have the truck guides but not the Blazer guides.

These were posted in another thread. To my knowledge they are not reproduced. They could easily be made. The short ones are all the same. Depending on the year, the longer one could be one of two lengths depending on if there is a separate riveted on frame bracket or just a slot on the top of the rail. 9" for the trucks with the frame bracket and 14" for the trucks with the slot.

My 1970 Blazer uses the 9" with the separate bracket.
