How many 1954 3100s were made?
 

Searched here and the net and no luck finding the number of 54 3100s made.
I have seen serial numbers north of 8000 but nut sure its every model of that year. Anyone Know?

Serial numbers started at 1001 at each plant. I've seen a page somewhere that shows the total production of AD trucks but can't remember where.

I've found numbers for every yr except 54-55.1.....

I've wondered that too. Can't seem to find anything out either.

A better question seems to be, how many are still left? The 54-55.1 seems to be everywhere. Probably even more so than the 47-53.

We may never know how many were made but lots have survived. I think the design improvements helped. I think many 54s came with thick plastic covered wires which may have helped.
