2001 5.3 starting issues
 

Guys,
My 5.3 take about 3 times turning over before I get spark, does anyone know why it takes so long? it was pulled out of a Tahoe, computer flashed, it runs after the long start process, it is definitely spark issue...

Which way are you checking spark? Is this every time, or just sometimes.

Do you mean you have try to start it three different times or Are you counting revolution I personally have no idea But thought the clarification may help someone else to diagnose your problem

Try checking at the coils themselves. Spark is pcm controlled, so either its not being commanded (tuning issues, coil driver issue, other code preventing spark), or there is an intermittent issue with the wire or coil (or the wiring to said coil).

Also curious as nsb29 said, is it three attempts, or three revolutions?
