I would ask this question in the engine and drivetrain section of the forum.

Re: pcm flashing
Pratt is isn't to far from Wichita...I would think there would be someone around there that can do it..ask around at some parts stores or speed shops....

Re: pcm flashing
The best is one that is very close to where you live, check with some hot rod shops.
I used Nelson performance in San Antonio. If I make changes to my LS setup, I call them, tell them what I did, they send me a flashed PCM and I send mine back within 30 days. Good luck!! |
Re: pcm flashing
But even if you do get it flashed, the best thing you can do is get it dyno tuned once you get it up and running...a good dyno man can do wonders for a LS swap....more than likely if you can find a dyno shop ,they can flash the ecm as well...

Re: pcm flashing
If I decide to change fan temp on & off Ect. I will have to pay same price as I did the first Flash?
|
Re: pcm flashing
Most of the initial cost is the liscense they have to buy to unlock a ecm...it would be up to the tuner as to what he'd charge for changes...if it's a local guy ,he may not charge much for changes made after the initial unlock...

Re: pcm flashing
Thanks Greg. That is great to know. I will ask the next tuner that flashes my Pcm if he has a different charge scale on re-flashing.
I am out of here headed to Thanksgiving Dinner |
Re: pcm flashing
I used LT1swap.com. Answered all my questions and had the pcm back in about 10 days. No issues so far. But I will say my ride is a complete stock daily cruiser with the old th350 trans. I put nothing aftermarket on so if you're upgrading you may ought to consider a dyno guy mongo is referring to.
