inside pic request if possible thanks.

so i have my 2wd project and thinking i have the dark blue paint and doing white 2tone in the middle like a silverado level package would have . i have about every thing i need a saddle / tan for the door panels / trim kit to hold the headliner / dash pad near new oem mint condition .

what would you think it would look like blue inside and blue carpet and bench seat with saddle / tan for the trim out ?

if you happen to have pics that would be great thanks . :metal:

It wasn't a requirement to be a Silverado level package to be two-tone on the exterior. You could have it on any trim level as the trim is just the interior package on these trucks.

As far as the interior....I personally would not do two tone blue and tan. I think it'd be odd. If your interior is already blue, you can get a picture of what it would look like by doing all the trim pieces in there and seeing what it looks like. It would be personal for you and utterly kill any resale value later on if you had to get rid of it. Aside from that, I would say that just switching completely to tan guts would be a good move. Blue exterior and tan guts are a good color combo to begin with and you really can't go wrong doing the entire thing in tan.

empty shell inside the cab now . just trying to use the best parts i have on hand with no major redie work or painting of parts .

when i say silverado 2tone i mean like this . pic 1 . pic 2 is more mid to low level 2tone from what i have seen . the rest are my cab at its current stage . i even shaved the ashtray door area smooth . old glove box from dead cab makes a perfect panel to cut up and make the plug .

First....what year is the truck? The 85 in your signature? IF it is an 80 or earlier OR you plan on on putting an early model front clip on it then I would say it would look great. The mid 80's with the lower two tone is kinda ugly to be honest. There is another type of 80's two tone that is separated usually by some pin striping....Pic two will always be better looking than pic one in my opinion, but its just that...an opinion.

I dont have photos, but I think what you're describing would look great. I think tan interiors with tan carpet ends up being too... singular. The dark blue carpet would go nicely and give some contrast.
