Where exactly is the vacuum booster hooked up? Good retail value, making the rest of us look good.

Don’t think it was worth that before the accident

Maybe the bucket was full of whatever the person who priced it was smoking. It’s definitely empty now.

...the good news is that it will be there for quite a while.....probably a couple of years if they hang onto that price.
That will be just enough time for it to start deteriorating down into the $2k territory....and then of course, it will be parted out in short order.

Check back in 6-8 months....the motor will be gone, as will the steering wheel.

And an estimated retail value of $38,900. ?
Ahmm. What IS that vacuum booster hose hooked up to? An electric vacuum pump maybe? Guess that small block has a real snotty cam so it don't make enough vacuum to operate the brake booster.

....without an air cleaner protecting that motor from the elements, critters, junk yard dust and dirt...that motor is dropping in value $100/day in my opinion.

That means in about 2-3 months...that is a core for rebuilding in my books.

It appears that someone did a "take two and make one" with the bed showing a lap in the floor with carriage bolts connecting the two pieces and the rear crossmember having a suspicious looking line in the near proximity of the lap in the floor. I suppose from the "asking" price this only added character and value.

Even wrecked, it looks proud sitting in a sea of modern plastic. I hope someone brings her back to life.

I think that was a $6500 truck BEFORE the accident, not a $16,500 truck after. But I haven't bought a truck in a number of years...

Thinkin' that's the "We can make more partin' it out than selling it" price!
Like the color anyway!

I've been watching a few cars on copart lately, mostly classics and while there are deals to be had most of them end up selling for at least a couple grand over what a similar car would sell for on CL. lots of fire damaged classics on there too, about half of them started as engine fires. I carry a fire extinguisher in every vehicle I own

I was actually looking around copart today too and found some classics that could be considered deals. But haven’t seen what they end up selling for and found more than a few like this priced sky high or with bidding over what it should be. I blame it on people not being able to control themselves while bidding and I’m starting to wonder if copart has a shill bidding problem. The cars being sold by insurance companies have prices where they should be, all the others are bid up higher than they should be and it makes you wonder. There’s a guy on YouTube called samcrac and he has some great tips on what to look for in copart listings and how to see more history on vehicles sold on copart for those interested.
