Looking for 1966 Chevy C30 Panel 16" Center Caps

Gentleman , anyone know who sells the Original 66 Chev Pickup / Panel Truck 16" 8 bolt, center caps ?? I see them on Classic Industries site but believe they are for the 15" wheel . anyone know of a site who may carry the 16" size original reproductions or 16" dog dish generic style of any kind ? Thank you, Bob

Re: Looking for 1966 Chevy C30 Panel 16" Center Caps

All the caps appear the same from the front. The difference is how they are mounted, and that is where people get confused. Half ton models had two versions, one of which utilizes a ring on the back that snaps into clips which are riveted to the wheel, the other has no ring and pops on over nubs formed in the wheel itself. ALL 3/4 ton and above trucks used the clip type mounting ring, but the ring is not the same size as the half ton. So, there are basically three styles of caps to be aware of, and only one kind will fit your C30. Sadly, no ring style caps are being reproduced.
Check out this awesome thread on identifying every cap you could imagine for 60-66. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=702839

Thanks very much for the info. I will check it out . Yes the 8 bolt 16" wheels I have acquired have the 4 nubs on them for mounting . don't know if they are 66 year wheel correct but they are 8 bolt GM wheels that fit.

The only hubcap that will fit the wheels you now have are going to be from 1969 and up 12 inch hubcaps like these https://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-1977-C....c100011.m1850

Thank you , and yes I'm sure the wheels I have found are not 1966 lol, more like possibly a 95 Chevy 8 bolt C30 van . maybe I can find some 12" moon caps OR a cover /cap that goes inside the center hole , just to cover the hub and leave the wheel nuts exposed with some chrome lugs . just wanted to get it back to more original when completed than the aluminum wheels on it now .did not know reproductions for a 16" wheel would be unaccessable

The only 16 inch factory 1966 wheel was a lock ring wheel. If you search on here or if Factorystock chimes in , there is a way to add the clips to some 16 inch wheels in order the accept the correct hubcaps
