Some Tips for those Thinking about installing power windows.

So I found out the hard way which style of power window kit is most difficult to install....: I went with the universal "streetrod" type vertical regulator mount style where motor attaches off to side at bottom. Big pain in the A$$! had to notch out door metal behind the door panel in order for it to fit. Had to cut out internal door brace/window stop that is centered inside the door. All of this Took me about 15 hours and multiple attempts to figure out 1 door? If I could do over I would have gone with the motors made for our trucks that bolt onto original style regulator using existing bolt holes. Only about $50.00 more. Our truck doors are very narrow internally at the top and have a strong curve in them- This makes for a tough modification when you are trying to mount a 24" long straight bar regulator and motor.

I am doing power remote locks too using all OEM lock latches and hardware- that was a little easier. I will post some picts.
