Electrical
I was wiring my dash and saw a little plug on top of the steering column by the firewall. What plugs into it?

Re: Electrical
A pic is always best way for any of us to identify what the plug is suppoed to be plugged into....

Re: Electrical
Some details like year, transmission, and electrical options would help.
Oh and photos! |
Re: Electrical
It's a 69 with a Saginaw 3 speed column shifted manual and gauges original radio heater ignition cigarette lighter and dome light are the only things electric inthe cab outside the only thing electric are the lights. And even then I have to replace a flasher for the left turn signal. But there is a plug on top of the steering column by the firewall that I can't figure out. I found a pic that I think is what I'm talking about online but it didn't say what it was. Won't be able to get a pic of what I'm talking about until tomorrow when I'm at the shop. But does anyone have a clue of what I'm talking about?

Re: Electrical
This may help. Here is a link to my Burban's thread ( The Working Man's Burban) Scroll down to post 124 and see if any of that corresponds to what you are looking at. The WMB is a 67 automatic with guages and very few other options.
Good luck. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=698377&page=5 |
Re: Electrical
Yes. It's the reverse light plug. Thank you. It's been driving me nuts. On a related note which wire/wires plug into the voltage regulator under the hood. I noticed it when I got the truck but I didn't think to take pics when I took the old wiring out.
