Steering wheel thread size for 72 automatic
 

Somehow I stripped the thread on the column of a 1972 automatic steering column. I need to get a tap and die set to re-thread it. Does any one know the size it would take?

Thanks for the info, I was able to locate one at the local Ace hardware and picked up a three sided file. Filed on the threads a little then ran the die up and down to clear the threads. Again thanks for the help!
