70 Chevy body switch

I am looking at a 70 chevy to purchase for the cab, front clip and bed. I have a 95 chevy extended cab 4x4 that has been rolled, (which will be my donor truck). My question is, Has anyone done this ease? The donor truck has a good motor, transmission, frame is not bent and actually we drove the truck after it was rolled. If anyone has done this kinda of swap or knows someone that has, I would like to speak with them.

you will be going a lot of fab working,The frames are wider nothing lines up.Best off if your going that rout buy the 15,000 frame and then add your motor an then add your trans.I do be leave the 1967--72 are longer then the new **** boxes what happen to grafting stuff together.if you want a car feel buy a new truck if you want a truck feel buy a old truck.

I installed a 72 body on a 02 dodge 2500 with a Cummins 15 years ago. A lot of fabricating, but it’s worked well

You could use a second generation (2000–2006) Tahoe for a swb. There are a few people on here that have done it. Plus side is Tahoes can be had cheap, LS motor, abs if you want it, etc...
For your asked swap you need to make sure the wheel base is the same for what you want and you will have to come up with some custom body mounting solution. Also, the tract with will be something else to consider.
