A buddy has this 1961 Chevy truck I am going to be doing some work on it. At first I thought the paint job scheme was just a previous owner creation.

The truck appears to heave been repainted. I did take a pick of the paint code tag today.

Pure white is the original color for this truck.

But then I seen these!! Coincidence? Seems way to similar. ?? Maybe though. Has anyone have any info or seen this before? 1 pic below is of a 1961 Chevy. 2nd and 3rd pic are same gmc truck.

That's nothing more than "color between the lines" custom paint. I've seen it a lot over the years.
