60-63 retrosound radio fit and finish

I looking to get pictures of someone with a retrosound radio in the uncut original radio hole. I have searched all of this site and all over the web for a pic. I am wondering how close it fills the hole and how it looks. Im looking at the long beach model, but I would be happy with pics from any of the retrosound lineup.

Here is the one im looking at:

I will have a Custom Autosound (CAS) 230 in a uncut dash. I set it in the dash tonight and took a few photo's for you. I think the Retro Sound radio's will look about the same. My CAS radio has a plastic bezel that goes behind the dash that the radio face fits through. I don't believe they are showing you that bezel in the photos. From the reviews I've read Retro Sound radio sound better. I listen to sports talk radio when I drive, so sound quality isn't that important in my case.

I believe your radio hole is bigger than what mine is.

If you're not completely attached to the Custom Autosound unit, and if you still have the original radio, you can have it converted to AM/FM stereo, and include Bluetooth, USB, and MP3/iPod connection capabilities for about the same price, or less. I had mine converted by Electro-Tech Services in Minnesota for AM/FM and MP3 player for under $300. Just another option so you don't have to cut up the radio opening.

He also provides bezel re-chrome and lens restoration services.

If i had an original radio or could find one cheap that is the route I would go. I havent made my mind up between the retrosound long beach and a rebuilt original.

The guys at Electro-Tech really only need the housing since they remove all of the internals for a PCB, so if you can find a used non-working one on an auction or classified site, that would work.
