Exposed unused holes?
I didn’t have rear panels in the blazer I bought so I chose to leave them out. There are many exposed holes. Are there options besides putting screws in there? While that would look more finished than empty I was wondering if anyone had discovered other options. Thanks so much,

Re: Exposed unused holes?
There are push-in plastic plugs that you could use, but I don't think they would make it look any more finished...

Re: Exposed unused holes?
How about screwing snap bases down like what they use on a soft top. Then just snap the top button piece on to finish it off, hope that makes sense if not I can try and find a picture.

Re: Exposed unused holes?
I used the stainless hole covers found at Home Depot/Lowes for the exposed holes on my Jeepster. I'll look for some pics and post if I can find them....

Re: Exposed unused holes?
Has anybody found a 3" plug without having to buy a 10 pack? Prefer black plastic body plug.

Here's a couple of pics of the Stainless "plugs" and I also used some button head screws in a couple of places on the Jeepster (sorry for how dirty the Jeepster is!). Threw in a shot of the Jeepster and Blazer getting along in the garage as well.

Re: Exposed unused holes?
Thanks so much. Yeah those look good. I think they will work. You said Lowe’s? And btw. The jeepster is ridiculous cool and that’s extra hard to pull off beside a blazer. Very cool.

Re: Exposed unused holes?
I either got them at Lowes or HD; they are in the hardware aisle in the trays where the specialty stuff is. Not super expensive, and they have prongs that you bend over to secure once in place.
Thank you for the nice comment on the Jeepster also :) |
