68 c10 alternator bracket help
 

I am doing something wrong? It a 454 with stock 68 alt and p/s mounting. But the holes don't line up. Is it possibly the wrong bracket? I could oblong the holes out to make work but don't really want to. Any ideas.

Looked at mine. Only difference I see is a stud on the water pump.

If you could get a chance, would it be possible to take a measurement from water pump bolt to Intake bolt? I was the thinking maybe this came off a tall deck.

Also if you could take a measurement from top edge of block to to Intake bolt.

Awesome thank you. Looks like my bracket is right, but the intake hole is off. I will modify the bracket to work.

You may already know but if not, 1968-69 BB had one alt bracket, 70-71 had another and 72 its own.

Yes I do. I am trying to make a stock looking 68 bb. But not very stock motor.

I had to modify my bracket on my chevelle looked like yours. Think there was a difference in intakes between Holley and Rochester cars and trucks. Mine was a Holley engine . My new mark IV has an edelbrock so I needed to modify the bracket at the intake mount
