New member in AL
Hi all. Just joined. Long time owner of a 1989 Suburban 4 x 4. Will add a pic ion I can figure how. Putting the truck back on the road after a couple years sitting up. Built a 383 stroker with rv cam, rebuilt 700r4 with heavy corvette clutches. Repainted it about 3 years ago. Have done a lot of work to the truck - was my daily driver for a decade. I'm a paleontologist so I actually use it in 4wheel mode a lot.
Trying to locate some hard to find parts, hoping the forum can help. James |

Re: New member in AL
Thanks guys.
Mongocanfly - so "had" means you already parted it out? Am trying to find the impossible to find tailgate glass run channels. Online vendors all seemed to carry Soffseal reproductions, Soffseal stopped making them, no one has any. Can't even find them in junkyards. Mine rusted too badly to salvage. Wettest February on record here - can't roll up window. Truck in the garage for more than a month. |
Re: New member in AL
