I found a link to Full Custom Fabrication that sells new seat brackets that lower your seat about 2 inches. Direct bolt on that took less then 30 minutes. One of the best things that I have done to my truck. There is so much more room and the seating position is more comfortable.

Go to YouTube and check out Whitlock Garage and you will see Robbie , a member here , use those on his 67 GMC . he has a lot of videos but some need to be edited because Im in em .
