Re: Topkick door handles.
I had em on every truck before I got a 4 door Tahoe. Love em, so much easier to open. Specially in winter when the door freezes to the seals n rips ur hand off the handle, hurts like hell. Still have a set....

Re: Topkick door handles.
Yep, have them on my flatbed, link should be in signature. Mine were crusty when I salvaged them, had them blasted and powder coated with a gloss finish.

Re: Topkick door handles.
It's cool to see that others have done this. They should of bean what was on them in the first place. You don't see to many with them wich all so makes it kinda cool to.I agree with all your statements

Re: Topkick door handles.
Where can those handles be sourced and how hard to install ? My 97 Dually needs new handles .

The install is almost exactly like replacing a flat exterior handle, the only thing you need to be aware of is swapping the lock cylinders in the handle: driver for passenger and vice-versa, this will maintain the correct clocking. |
Re: Topkick door handles.
^^^ yep. I got my handles from 1a auto then modified the lach rod. And bypasses the lock rod. I have remote start and keyes entry so it doesn't bother me that the locks are just for looks.and no longer work
