lowering control or drop spindles or both?

This may be a newby question but i really have no clue. I've lifted thousands of truck but this is my first lowering job. Do you use just lowering control arms or just drop spindles or both?

It depends on how low you want to go. Tells us what year and how you plan to use the truck. I installed early classic enterprises 4/6 drop on my 67 and I love it. I drive my truck daily.

Not the best pictures, but they're all I have handy at the moment. My truck has 2 1/2 inch drop spindles and 1" drop springs on the front. The rear is 6" drop springs. It had 1 1/2 inch drop springs in the front, but it was too low for me.
