That's the result of putting a lace-on leather cover on one when the truck has about 15,000 miles on it. The wheel always felt oily when it was hot.

When I was going to do a red interior I got this car wheel from the same era. It's something special because I search and don't ever find them like like this one

Are any of the steering wheels from later model year trucks a direct fit for 67-72? Or is a modification required for anything other than one for your specific year truck?

I just bolt these in. This was my '71 tow truck. Can't recall, but might be something to do with the horn wire.

Here's my original wheel in my 71 K1500. Has a crack at approx. 9 oclock position, but overall has survived in pretty decent condition.....

I have a decent original in my '72. It had hairline cracks when the spokes meet the rim that the lace-on covers up
