1961 Chevy truck: recommended windshield wiper motor kit?
I have a 61' that i've been trying to fix up and there was no wiper motor or anything just the wipers and need them because it rains a lot here.
Is there a recommended wiper that I should install that's worth my money? (Need everything but the wipers pretty much) |
Re: 1961 Chevy truck: recommended windshield wiper motor kit?
Theres New Port Engineering that makes them. Never heard any bad about their motors. Kinda pricey but has an optional intermittent switch which is kinda cool. If i every get around to the wiper motor on mine, ill save up the scratch for the New Port set up.

Depending on just what you want, you could just go with original style linkage and a stock replacement 2 speed wiper motor wiring and switch.

Sorry but I do not have a link to a new wiper motor. If you can not find one, you may consider sourcing the mounting bracket from a '63-'66 cab, installing that and then purchasing a '63-'66 wiper motor which is available at most truck parts suppliers.
