49 door seal rubbers... how many?
 

im having abit trouble explaining the number of seals i need to redo my 49 cab doors... i'm right arn't i...
1, cab windlace (up one side over the top and down the other (fits in a welded on channel around the cab)
2, seal that runs along the floor ontop of the rocker held in place with a stip if metal trim screwed to the floor (this also goes over the ends of the cab windlace)
3, rubber seal that runs up around the edge of the door and down the other side (glued on)
4, a seal that runs along the bottom edge of the door held on by a metal trim and screws

the vendor im trying to get the seals from is telling me there is only 3 seals not 4

its 3, windlace (in cab) lower windlace (screwed to cab) and door seals. the one held on by the metal trim on the door is the same seal as gets glued to the door edge, it turns 90 degrees and you both glue and clamp it. in this link you can watch a video of the install.

thank you ... i feel a right dick now after arguing with the vendor i needed 4 seals.. haha
guess ill have to go eat humble pie for tea now!

dont sweat it, you probably wont even talk to the same guy when you call back and if you do just give him the "I should learn to listen to someone who does this all day". he will be so flattered you admit your mistake he will forget the offense.
