Which one did you go with?

I put one of their nsr truck stage 1 cams in my wifes 08 suburban when i deleted the AFM/DOD in it. I did put a new set of ls6 springs in also, 145k on stock springs it was cheap insurance.

Runs out pretty well for a big ol rig. You can tell by the exhaust note it isnt stock but its still pretty tame with no driveability issues.

PS you will see copper on the cam bearings, unless one comes out with the old cam dont worry about them.

Good to hear you like it rennat...I also went with the btr stage 1 truck....haven't cranked it yet...real anxious to hear it growl....

After spending hours on YouTube listening to different cams, I decided on the BTR Stage 4 truck cam. Should have a nice lope to it. Now to get it in the engine and into the truck ...

Pontitruck...look on utube at btr nsr cams...
When I talked to btr I told them I had a stock 5.3 with headers and only wanted a little rumble..they recommended the stage 1 or 2 truck series cam...I went with stage 1 but havnt cranked it yet..
They also recommended the spring upgrade which I did...if running a auto you may need a stall..
When I got it the box said comp cams on it....go figure....
