I noticed in the assembly manual that there is listed a seat belt retainer mounted to the center console on the 67?/68 trucks equipped with buddies. Ive seen several sets of buddies but never the belt retainers. Has anyone seen these and has pictures?

I found a set on the net and am going to install them on my 67 CST.http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1556211762

My 67 came with shoulder harness but no evidence of retainers. I don't know if that is a 68 only thing for retainers or just not done in Oshawa. Either way 4 retainers are going on to keep that bundle of snakes under control.

My 67 had shoulder belts as well from factory but no retainers. Not sure how the factory determined what got these. I did add them to mine as well but I ran 4 across.

I went through your build thread again to see the retainers. Any pics?
I want to take Vermillie the Redheaded Stepchild on a long run. Was thinking Saskatoon. Any shows coming up this summer? I would like to meet some of the Saskatchewan members.

Wondering if your manual has a diagram for the Suburban buddy bucket console; it doesn't have the hinged seat back. It's just the console box and bottom cushion lid. I love to find one or have one fabricated.

Do you know if that seat came in a truck with shoulder harness?

I wish I knew. I picked them up complete but disassembled for my ‘68 GMC.
