What I have for sale is a clearly hit and repaired, rusty, and undesirable 69 C10 with a ton of modifications. I sincerely want you to have it inspected before buying so no one pulls the wool over your eyes. There is nothing to hide here with all the flaws and cheap body repairs. There are many experts on the forum that can help save you from buying this beater, so heed their esteemed wisdom.

Price is $22,000 USD for this bucket of crap. It barely runs and shifts and was abused its entire life. It is not a survivor. It has been painted numerous times and is full of bondo.

It appears to have had rockers, cab corners, all glass, doors, tailgate and anything painted orange replaced or half heartedly fixed.

I have a large Corvette Collection and love the old quality trucks. There is no one group more anal about what is right than Corvette guys. In all the forums I have ever dealt with, they don’t allow resident “experts” to chime in on what is right or wrong in a for sale thread.

Apparently, they allow that here.

There is no intent to hide anything and these “experts” have this weird flex when they think they found something unscrupulous. Want to show their knowledge to all their internet fans.

No one should be fooled, and I never buy anything including my 6 figure cars with out having an expert inspect it.

So yes. This truck is a complete POS and no one should ever want to buy it. ;)

This is too funny....I agree...I have several friends who are Corvette owners and they sometimes get annoying , especially when it comes to their Pride and Joy.

In some small way I kinda understand...Many people get took when buying old cars/trucks/….I know I have had my share but as they say Buyer Beware..

Sometimes people tend to put their nose in places it doesn't belong and it seems it may be the case here.

I really like your POS and think it looks really good. I learned a long time ago that they are only New ONCE and unless its been in a time capsule nothing with few exceptions are truly original...even its just tires and rubber parts.

Thanks for sharing your bondo'd, repainted, rust bucket, piece of crap...Sure wished I had the coin to get this truck...only thing I would prefer is that it was white.....but since it has been repainted so many times that wouldn't be a problem...lol GLWS....Seriously...You have a very nice truck!!!!!

It has been totaled 3 times and barely gets up to 20MPH.

Noticed you are from Dega. My father was in NASCAR in mid 70’s. They won rookie of the year in 1974, and Martinsville. But as a young child I loved the Talledega track the most. All my family are mechanics. (Dad was jack man back when they had no speed limit on pit road) I was the only dummy that stopped pucks for a living.:5150:

I have had a few matching number vettes as well (59, 62 and 66BB) and I appreciate protecto plates and factory build sheets and knowing the history of a vehicle. Love your truck and it’s provenance—thanks for posting it—good price too! Martin

So if you don't like the comments and instead of being sarcastic why don't you just delete the ad and put the truck on Craigslist or Kijiji where people can't comment.. Also you have a nice original straight as they come truck but for 22k US I'd want more than no P/S or P/B with vinyl seats and 3OTT on a truck.

I do have it listed on Kijiji and in 99% of forums they don’t allow interference in sale threads. I do love pointing out how people cant resist putting their 2cents in, it entertains me. And I guess this isn’t the truck for you but do appreciate your positive comments about it.

Your truck is exceptionally nice but your actions have caused some of us to have concerns. We know that even the best vehicles that have been around for 50 years may have some flaws. I think the culture of this board has been to openly disclose these flaws and allow people to take them into account when deciding whether to spend the money to travel to see a vehicle.

The photo in question pretty clearly shows a repair done in the door jamb, when this was questioned, the post was deleted and the photo was deleted from Kijili. Now there are several photos on the new post but a photo showing the area some of us were questioning is not there.

Again this is clearly a Very nice truck, but eliminating photos, and deleting posts seems less than forthright.

Appreciate the input and opinion. I always pay for a local inspection before I would ever drive any distance to see a vehicle. And I wouldn’t trust anything any seller says without proof.

So we are saying the same thing. There is nothing going on shady here. I’m too well known to worry about stuff on a low dollar vehicle like this truck.
