88-98 rear bumper on 71 gmc?

I just picked up a bumper for a 88-98 pickup and was wondering if it would fit my 71 gmc. Has any one done this? If so whare the brakets easy to make?

Did some meshureing and whare the factory inner braket on the 88-98 bumper is two inches wider then the out side fram rail. So an inch on each side. The braket I would have to make would need a bend in it or spaced out an inch from the frame. I test fit up thare and it think it dont look bad.

Several ones have been done. I have 1 or 2 pics I think. I think this one belongs to Tbone. It looks good.

Ya I've seen that one. It's for 99-07 chevy.
Just curious on 88-98.
