Question about 68 side trim !!!!
 

I have some trim that came off a light blue 68 short wide. Not sure if it was original paint. Anyways it has gold painted in trim where the black usually is at. Now I have some nos trim pieces that have red. And done with white. Was this gold paint something special. Thanks.

No I don’t. But I will take some !! My buddy took these off a 68 bed that he got in the late 80s for sure. They look original. I also have some new stuff that I was told is NOS. Some red. And some white. I bought them about 8-9 years ago. Not sure. I will get pictures. Thanks

Hey 68 bow tie. My mistake. I went and unwrapped these trim pieces. Someone years ago. Because my buddy bought this bed probably 30 years ago. Anyway someone put gold pinstripeing tape over the black. It looked faded and original gold. Then I found where one was pealing off. I will try to remember to take pictures of these new OEM PIECES. Yes GMC had red I think for sure. I think I have some with red. Some with white.
