I just completed 2 more A/T tilt columns and are ready for shipping

I have for sale a very nice restored pickup A/T Tilt Column.

The rebuild includes a complete disassembly and inspection for worn or broken parts. This is followed by cleaning and bead blasting most parts. The Hub and Housing are powder coated. The rest of the column is then painted and rebuilt to factory specs. This includes packing and set torque to factory specs on upper bearing assembly. The lower bearing is cleaned and repacked. The dust or air seal is replaced with a new one. I have the lower bearing retainer and the screws that mount to neutral safety / backup light switch, as well as the horn button contact parts re-cadmium plated. The original turn signal harness is checked using one of my trucks. It will be reused if it passes the use test. It is then cleaned and re-greased. A new turn signal harness is available on request. The column is rebuilt using new, NOS and quality used parts. Column is ready to bolt in.

On automatic columns the neutral safety/backup light switch is installed and has been adjusted to match the shift indicator. No additional adjustment should be needed, just plug and play.

I also have a number of original shifter arms that have been re-chromed. All of them are high quality show chrome. I have both the standard pickup shifter as well as some out of vans which are about 4” shorter. Some owners opt for the shorter shifter based on a smaller steering wheel size. The price is $50.00 for either.
