Chrome wiper arms: yay or nay
 

The previous owner of my truck sent some chrome wiper arms with the truck. I haven't put them on yet because I'm not too sure about the look. Are the original arms on a '76 more of a matte stainless? What does everyone think of the chrome? I'm thinking chrome on a sunny day might not be too cool. Smudges are from my greasy hands.

The reflections will blind you. Some of the black paint is wearing off the wiper on my 89 and at the wrong angle it is dazzling - worse than the cracked windshield that the HP made me replace :(

I love chrome but, I'm old and have been blinded by glare off old chrome or polished stainless steel wiper arms and blades too before they were outlawed .

Those always looked cheesy to me. Chrome also ages very badly if not taken care of.

Indeed they will .

FWIW, almost all are stainless steel and so will never rust / corrode and are easy to return to a mirror like shine .

Just be ready for that blinding flash in the sun .
