VIN and SPID question
I bought a parts lot from a older gentleman the other day and there are several glove box doors. I ask him where they came from and he say "well things were swapped around when I was building trucks back in the day". I am not sure what he meant by that. Anyway to my question is there a list of owners and VIN's anywhere? I would be happy if I could find the original glove box door for my truck. So if I could give the original door to the correct truck that would be great. I know that there is a good chance these trucks were scrapped but even if I could find one that would be great.

Any thoughts on this

My thoughts, for what little they are worth is that unless you are a private investigator or LE or work at the DMV, you won't have access to this info.

Re: VIN and SPID question
It's a good idea but the sheer number of trucks built at multiple assembly plants it would a very labor intensive project that will always have holes that need filled. There's some on here that collect the doors from highly optioned trucks.
