Confused -pics of 350 with a/c and how brackets bolt up please
1970 350 c10 with ac and power steering. Replacing water pump over course of a week and feel like I lost an ac bolt -connects bracket to intake and ground wire. Just not sure how that happened.
I also need to know the length of bolts for water pump. The ones I took off don't seem long enough now when I attempt to attach the ac brackets. Every single one is a different length. I assume this is due to being attached to the brackets or not. It just seems like my top passenger side bolt is too short. I cant replace it with any of the others because they are either shorter or appear to go in the right place already |

I'm in the midst of an engine swap. Same setup as yours only a 72. All the bolts are bagged up. I'll look for the bag for the water pump tomorrow and let you know, assuming I find the right bag of course.

I bought this truck knowing there was a water pump issue, but they didn't say the specifics. The original owner passed on and the family is who i bought the truck from. |

You do not have a bolt where i circled. It looks like a bolt should be there(the bracket on the back side is threaded). I can't remember if i did or did not. if i did not and i am not supposed to, then I am not missing any bolts and my only concern will be my water pump bolts lengths not being long enough due to the a/c brackets. Unfortunately I didn't recognize the water pump bolt lengths when disassembling. I know i have the bolts in the location where they came out of, but not sure how i lost some length to them. Knowing the necessary bolt length from existing setups like mine will tell me where i need to go to get this rectified. |

A bolt does go in the hole that you circled. Back during my build I had not tensioned the AC compressor belt yet, so that bolt wasn't present when I took the pics.

Hello, could you tell me which pulleys I need for the setup? My pulleys are not aligned. thank you from Germany |

Crank pulley groove by engine routes to waterpump(innergroove) and then to the alternator. Middle crank pulley groove routes to the waterpump(outer groove) and then to the AC compressor. Crank pulley outer groove routes to the Power Steering pump. |

Ok, the WP bolts on mine measure as follows,
Passenger side top 2 3/4 inches, Passenger side bottom 3 1/2 inches, Driver side top 1 5/8 inches, Driver side bottom 1 5/8 inches. This one has a fine thread stud on the head which wasn't being used. Stud length is 5/8 inch. This is on a 72 with air and power steering. Can't guarantee these are original because i didn't get the truck until 1998. |

I found my missing wp bolt hiding in the frame carriage in a ton of gunk. This truck needs a serious power washing underneath after i get it back together. |
