FS Jeep XJ intermediate shaft

This is the Jeep Cherokee intermediate shaft that a lot of guys(myself included) are using to tighten up the steering and get rid of the rag joint at the steering box. This is in good shape(dirty) and included both bolts. You need to have a double D output shaft on the bottom of your column for this to work. $60 not including shipping.

That's a good deal. If I hadn't just completed this mod myself I'd be all over it.

Will this work for an ‘84?

Re: FS Jeep XJ intermediate shaft

As long as you have a double d on the bottom of your column. If the column hasn't been changed it will work

It is still available. This will work on any column with a double D output shaft. 85-86 are double D. You just need to put a notch in the bottom of your steering column for the bolt to go through as GM had the bolt go through the center. There are lots of write ups all over the internet on using these on Squarebody trucks if you need more details
