Wide band 02?
 

Here's my rundown. 2000 vortec 6.0, 4l80 trans with speed engineering headders and there xpipe. My question is where do I put the wide band 02 sensor. Do I need a duel sensor or am I able to put one in. Thanks in advance

From what I've read...
Should be about 3' from the closest cylinder. Too close and it gets too hot, too far away and it gets too cold. You want it at least 6" after the collector. You want ti in a piece of pipe that is straight for at least 6", as bends can interrupt flow. Should be at least 15* above parallel to the ground.

You can run 1 sensor after one header, or one after each header. Up to you. Both sides SHOULD be pretty even.

If you google around "wideband location" you will get tons of results.

3 to 18 inches from the collector seems to be a popular answer.

Run a wideband in addition to your stock sensors.

fugly, yes! but effective, I plan on running two Wideband AEM O2 sensors in addition to my narrow band sensors at all times, and when not just plug the second bungs with a plug (you don't want to leave O2 sensors in disconnected without heating them up as they will get ruined)
