PHOTO THREAD - The Little Details You Love. Whether You Used Them or Not

As the title says, even if you didn't use them post the pics because others of us may be inspired by them.
Here's a few of my faves. I like the motorcycle signals used as reverse lights to fill the spaces next to the stock license holder on the TF trucks. Mine are going in soon. The CHEVROLET valve cover script welded into the cab is way cool too. I'd have done it if I'd seen it before my truck was too far along. The storage in the door panel is neat. Might be a catch all but if you keep it organized it would be helpful. I like the stainless in the step except it'll get scratched just like the paint would I'll post more as I find them in my photo stash. Maybe this will become a "sticky" |

I was organizing some car/truck photos the other night and realized I'd taken a lot that were only of details I liked and wanted to remember. Here's another I saw on a TF truck at a car show in Lake Tahoe a few years ago. It's a way to failsafe lock the hood on our trucks using readily available desk or cabinet drawer locks: |

Mark,
Can't tell you how much I like the '55 car badge on the otherwise plain tailgate. A very nice touch....and one I've seen on no other Task Force....so far! lol |

Is the above pic the original inspiration for Madonna's cone-bra that made me feel funny as a young man?
https://i.pinimg.com/originals/64/07...e37430c536.jpg Several little details I like about this truck: The Mini-Cooper-esq Exhaust, the frenched taillights, and I like the door handles too. Looks like a '90s bed maybe? |

I just may try that |

Dan, those door pockets are trick. I’m getting my door panels done with those, great idea thanks for sharing.

John, you're welcome.
Yeah, I'm thinking of doing the door panel pockets too. There is so little storage in these trucks especially if you put Vintage Air in them like I did. The glove box is so small now the only thing that will fit in them is...well, gloves! ha ha! I might add 1 or 2 dividers in them though to keep stuff from sliding around. I'll usually carry a couple folded microfiber towels, my little dog's leash, sunglasses, etc. |

Top: Impala fender badge on lower right dash
Middle: Chrome "bullets" in center of front turn signal lenses Bottom: The gold clips holding the loom are commonly used on semi trailers for hose tender springs but they are an easy way to secure stuff to the frame without drilling. In the photo it secures the wiring loom, on the passenger side they secure the fuel line along the frame. |

Went to a car show locally and saw this on a vent window, it was a VW bus, but it was pretty trick.

Saw this at a local show over the Labor Day Weekend. Guy added the hood emblem to the radiator support, so it showed up when he had the hood open showing off all his chrome.
