Need help: pics of 96+ 3dr extended cab upper trim

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

I need to see pics of the trim along the top of the passenger doorway in a 3 door truck. Basically really need to see how the A-pillar meets with the smaller filler strip, how the filler strip fits into the round plastic 3rd door latch, straight to the rear of the truck.

Needing to reassemble mine tomorrow A.M. after a few months. I'm sure I can figure it out, but a picture is worth a thousand words.

Got it under control. Here are the pics and some instructions for anyone else who needs to reassemble the passenger side plastics on a 3 door GMT400.

I found it easiest to install the rear pillar plastics first, then install the 16"(ish) notched piece, notch goes where the 3rd door strike is and the end towards the rear should set into the rear pillar plastic about 3/4" - look at the ribs inside the piece to see where the gouges are for the clips to approximate where it should snap in. Semi-circle cover has a hook on either end that tucks under the 16"(ish) piece, then one metal push clip to hold it up. Last, A-pillar plastic goes on and overlaps the 16"(ish) piece.

Driver's side ... single blurry pic attached - the upper rear plastic goes in first, then the A-pillar plastic overlaps it.

Glad you got it figured out. I had looked thru my old 96 GMC pictures and didn't have any of that area.

It's such a weird spot, Bill! Same issue here. Pics of everything BUT that section of the trim.

And I realized also, I seem to have lost the tan wingnut thingy for the roadside kit/jack box. :help:

Replacement is $20. Just getting ready to sell the truck, wasn't looking forward to hitting the JY for just a little plastic thingy to make it as complete as I'd like!
