Core Support, Bottom Corners Replacements
 

Does any company (large or small) make reproductions of the left & right side bottom corners of the core support? They have 5 90 degree bends that are parralell(sp) and two other 90 degree bends that are set about 30 degree angle from the others. Also the bottom channel 1"x2"x1" by 48" long needs replaced. I am working on making the entire bottom piece of the radiator support, but it will be a couple weeks before I will be able to finish them up.

Thanks for the update I look forward to seeing your corner replacements. I used you steering box mount and it worked great.

On youtube, I watched how Gibson63 repaired his core. He cut out the rusted part & used it to beat out a new one.

I'm not sure I have enough left to do that.

That's extremely good news. I just noticed a couple weeks ago that the lower passenger side of mine completely broke off :lol: I recently picked up a new core support as well, but it too has some rust that I want to fix before I put it in

Captain Fab, Just checking to see how the new product is progressing? Also do you accept a Master Card Visa or Walmart money transfer? Costs about the same as money order and you can get your money same day.

I also need to order a brake booster mounting plate.

I'll try and make some progress the next few days. I finally got the brake freed up so I can change it over to form these. I can take credit cards via PayPal, but I know nothing about a Walmart money transfer

Sorry for the delay. I finally got these two radiator support bottom repair pieces formed up. However I realized that I had forgot to order the pemserts I need. I will get those on order tomorrow and hopefully have them, in a few days.

The battom channel looks good. Looks like you got the holes in the correct spots.

Yes they have all of the original holes in the correct places, plus a few holes for plug welding. These two that I have will be $50.00 plus shipping. The shipping cost will have to be calculated using your zip code as there are no flat rate boxes big enough to accommodate these.

I ended up ordering some boxes. The couple that I could find locally were just too expensive. I'll have to check the tracking to seem when they will be here. I'll have to get a booster bracket powder coated also.
