When you scroll through the pics and get to the renderings I personally think they look really good. But the real thing just isn't quite there. Id have to see it in person though to really get a feel for it.

I think the blue portion was done well and looks nice. It’s the lines of the white top that look weird to me. That said, the guy is very talented. Just not my taste.

I almost wonder if it would look better all blue? Instead of two toning it and drawing attention to the part that looks off.

Lots of work,talent, time and money ! Unfortunately they will be lucky to get 25 cents for every dollar spent on it. Financially it would have been better to restore one back original where you can get two dollars for every one spent.

I think it took a lot of time and talent to pull it off. I wish the roof line didn't throw it's proportions out of whack. I would drive it though.

I think the hood looks off, is not raked enough. The roof is mostly fine but the car from the A pillar and forward looks like it's not flowing right to me.

I know it took an amazing amount of talent and time to pull this off, but I just don't like it. I've never been a fan of the 67-68 grill and hood, and the rims just look goofy to me. Show me one with a 69-70 or 71-72 front clip and some better rims and maybe. But that's a big maybe.

I agree the talent was amazing, but comes off looking odd.

Also with the above a solid color would likely draw less attention to the roof line, and A-pillar.

To which I would add a roof rack, and some KC lights. A little scene points, and a solid color would draw a lot of attention from the A-pillar.

To me it reminds me of how people try to put modern dashes in old cars. For me the 1/2 the charm of a old car is the dash.

3 things

1 - it has a 67-68 grille and blazers did not come out until 69

2 - the article put it exactly correct
"Even with the extra set of doors, the proportions of the K5 Tahoe aren't all that different from the original Blazer. The only weird part about the design is the factory rake of the windshield that makes the front end look a little too tall."

3 - the wheels are too big to fit the proportions of the factory style

The rake doesn't look right, thats for sure. Looks odd.
