Barn door lock cylinder 1988 Suburban

I need a new lock cylinder for the rear door on my 1988 suburban.

I found a vendor that sells matched sets but they are for the locking tailgate on a truck.

Does anyone know if the cylinder for the locking truck tailgate will work for the rear door on a suburban?

LMC has one for $14.95 that you'd have to take to your locksmith to get keyed to match your truck. I'm not familiar with the lock cylinder to the locking truck tailgate though. I don't think I've ever seen one or new they existed. Is that something aftermarket that uses an OEM lock?
