Wheel Size for Disc Conversion
 

I have been searching these posts and cant find a clear cut answer and was hoping you could help.
I have a 1965 c10 bone stock with original wheels. I am clearly wanting to do some upgrades to make it more street able.
I'm going to do a CPP disc brake conversion with 2 inch drop spindles and 1 inch drop spring. In the rear I'm going with a 4 inch drop spring.
Going to change the front to 5 lug and replace the rear with 5 lug 30 spline axles. I believe the rear is 3.75 ?
My question is. I want to keep my hubcaps and continue to make it look bone stock. What wheel do I need to use so the disc will work and not rub.For some reason I'm not a big fan of spacers. I dont trust them. I live in OHIO and close to Summit racing. Also to lower the RPM for high way what size tire is optimal.
I was thinking of using Wheel Vintiques ? In gray To Paint 15x8 ??
Not sure 62 series ??? White walls for sure..Tire size to lower the RPM on highway ? Bolt Patern is what 5X5 ??

You are on the right track with the Wheel Vintique style 62's. As long as you are using the standard disc brakes and not a "big" brake kit, 15" wheels are large enough. For RPM / tire diameter, do a search for "RPM Calculators" that will let you input your axle ratio, tire size and transmission to find rpm's at different speeds.
