Heater Delete plate

:help: Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a heater delete plate for the dash of my 66. If so where can I purchase one? I cant seem to find one anywhere.

Thanks for any assistance.

Indeed they do and I know where one is on a C 50 in a salvage yard. Not sure if he’s willing to part out that truck but if you’re really patient ( A few months ) i’ll get over there and have a look and see if he would sell that part.

The thrift heater trucks had just a plate with a small hole in it. The hole is easily welded up. That should be an easier plate to find.

I am in no hurry and would be very interested let me know. Any idea what it may cost? I haven't a clue what something like this would be worth. Obviously I would compensate you for getting it and shipping.

That would be acceptable as well.

I haven't been able to locate anything close to a delete plate. Not that I am on the inside with everything available for my truck. I am sure I have not looked in the right place, well obviously since some are out there and I have seen none.

I would imagine there are other sellers of this part, this is just where I had seen it.
