To quote Joe Diffy. That is a full size bed that never has to be made.

Im trying to decide wether this is more , Modern hillbilly or Retro Redneck ,it does give me the feeling of Camper Special though.

Re: Replacement truck bed

what's going on with the back of the cab? was it a suburban?

the top edge of the cab over the rear window has the chm brake light but cab looks awkward there..

looks to be from a different model, that model Chevy truck window would be flush fit..

and there doesn't appear to be anything behind the rear doors, no cab corners..

I would politely decline parking it in my driveway

I owned a GMT800 for 11 years, it looks like a regular truck to me. I think what's throwing you off is the rear crew cab door is cracked open.

I also don't recall suburbans ever receiving the spear trim on the doors, I'm pretty sure that was a truck only thing, and also GMC only. Memory getting fuzzy.

I wish I had thought of that 20 years ago for my one of my furniture store delivery trucks. Stuff like this always makes people look twice. For a few years I had a red loveseat bolted to the roof of the box truck cab. That always turned heads. Eventually I had to take it off because it started tearing the roof panel. It was an actual loveseat that I fiberglassed and painted to make it weatherproof. I intended to add some structure to the panel and get it back up on the roof but never got a round tuit.

nah, it's not right back there..

I too have been driving an 02 since 02 and it's different, looking out the window at it now..

the top radius is too sharp, should be more rounded
also looks taller than cab roof, should be rounded and slope back to the rear
back window is raised or surface mounted, should be flush
that chm brake light looks wrong, bed lights are square, should be rounded
the back radius of the cab is not there, below door line, corner, anywhere
both doors appear to be fully closed and otherwise fairing evenly to the cab

those are chevy truck rear light buckets, not suburban though..

need a higher resolution picture to tell for sure but sure doesn't look like the back of that model truck to me..
