2004 Online Shop Manuals?
I've lost where to find the factory online shop manuals here. I need to one that shows how to remove door cards to get to the innards of the 2004 Silverados and such. I've tried to figure out how to remove them and it's very difficult without breaking them. Thanks, LBJ.

Re: 2004 Online Shop Manuals?
No online source of the 2004 GM manuals. Helm gets a pretty penny for them too.
Look at post #50 in my build thread for how to deal with the front door cards. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...28#post8486128 If you're looking for info on the rear extended cab doors I did those as well. |
Re: 2004 Online Shop Manuals?
Thanks, Hatzie, I finally got back to my post. I watched the video on your POST 50 and it appears I had ALL the screws out but the one under the door lock slider cover! ha. That's all it took to keep the door card on the door. Oh well, I got the power window control panel out with a little breakage on the door panel catches. The switches are working again and I don't really know why it is. I just tamped it a few times on the palm of my hand and put it all back together. It's working for now. New panels are fairly pricey even at Rock Auto. But, when I REALLY need to replace it, now I know how! Lane/LBJ
