1967 GMC 351E Alternator Bracket
2 Attachment(s)
At some point in my GMC 1967 Camper Cruiser's life someone added aftermarket AC. In doing so they relocated the alternator to the right hand side of the engine block. We are working to remove the aftermarket AC and are trying put the alternator back to where it would have been, on the right hand side of the block, coming out of the factory. This being the case we are looking for a correct alternator bracket and if nothing else what the bracket looked like. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks!

https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=...76832131497237 I googled "pics of 351e motors" and got a few pics such as the one above. Looks like a standard small block set up only located on the right instead of the left.

Re: 1967 GMC 351E Alternator Bracket
Factory A/C 305's and 351E's use a large cast iron bracket on the right (passenger) side of the engine that holds both the compressor and alternator. If you can't find the original non-A/C alternator bracket. it looks like you might have enough to work with there if you use one of those universal GM alternator brackets. This might work with some modifications:

Here are some non-A/C engine mount brackets. The right side one looks to have the lower alternator mount on it. No connection to seller:
