Talk about an Extremely rare trans. The bell housing alone I sold for $500 to a friend but his was the 1 of 200 made with the 6.2L combo in 1982.

You're asking a reasonable price as well. I'll share it too my GM diesel group.

I wasn't sure if I over priced it, doesn't sound like it. The bell housing is the dual pattern for the Gm and Chrysler.

Very rare option.... i have 2, and i sold the third i had 15 years ago to greenmachine in IA. Your pricing is accurate...

There are three different bellhousings for those: The one you have, another with a boss for a hydraulic clutch slave, and the third is for the version of the trans that has the traditional Chevy 4-speed mount.
The shifters/linkage are unique to this transmission (even though Mopar had the same trans in their A-body cars, vans and pickup trucks for years).
Finding the trans is not that hard--they show up at my swap meet pretty regularly.
Finding the bellhousings? VERY difficult.
Finding the shifter? If it doesn't come with the trans, it's nearly Unobtainium.
Nice price there for a complete, bolt-in package.
