66 GMC V6 Hood Emblem Placement/Template

Hi everyone,
I have been lurking on the site for a few years and have found it to be a valuable source of information during the restoration of my 66 long stepper. I am in the process of completing the last few details and am looking for any info on where to drill the holes in the hood for the V6 emblems. The original hood was really rusty so I found a better one to use. Without thinking I forgot to make a template from the old hood before i hauled it to the scrapper.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!!
I have included a few pics of where the project is at now. Getting close!!

Hope this helps. 3 3/8 from front seam .2 7/8 and 4 1/2 from bottom

Good looking truck. What distributor and carb set up are you running. I have a 66 1-ton that I am trying to get on the road and the carb is my biggest hang up.

The carb is a holley 500cfm. The distributor is an HEI but not sure on the model or part number. Those 2 mods really wake these motors up.
