hydroboost question
can anyone tell me the difference between this hydroboost on ebay compared to the cpp and other companies that are asking over double the amount. or is it a to good to be true deal.

Re: hydroboost question
I see both websites have the EXACT same description, word for word. I'm betting quality wise, they're the same. The extra cost if cpp is likely for the pretty chrome and name brand recognition. As far as customer service/support that's a gamble. Either way, the units and master cylinder is going to be remanufactured or junk Chinese. I found this out even with NAPA parts when I did my hydro/brake system.

Re: hydroboost question
Mine are salvaged OE GM. I would replace the seals on those before I'd buy new. The master cylinders are a different story.
If I were in your situation, I would go with the eBay choice.. |

Re: hydroboost question
I used performance online hydro on mine...the master has POL cast into it ..but it looks alot like the one you show on ebay
The POL is a little more than the Ebay one....https://www.performanceonline.com/19...E-BOOSTER-KIT/ |

Re: hydroboost question
I did a 67 Nova a number years ago and due to the cam and lack of vacuum I went with a hydro boost from Hydratech. It wasn't cheap but it worked very well. Paul at Hydratech was very helpful.
Don't know if the company is still around but I was very happy. |

Re: hydroboost question
We only use genuine Bosch hydro-boosts in our kits. We are not using aftermarket knock off units. This is probably where the cost difference is.
