Gauge cluster ID help
Hello all,
I am starting to get more into the 73-87 gauge cluster restorations. What I really need help with is id and year change items. In know that fonts and colors and styles on the gauges changed. I know about some of the changes but not all. Also wiring at the connector and the circuit board. What housings are the same? If anyone has expertise on the subject, I would very much appreciate it. Anything will help me. Thank you in advance, Tom |

Re: Gauge cluster ID help
I see that Crossy has not been active since June or somewhere in 2019.
Maybe someone else can answer. I need to know what tachs and what fuel gauges did not have filter holes? 73-75?? Some other app besides a light duty truck? Thank you , Tom |
Re: Gauge cluster ID help
The early fuel and tachs had no window.
Some 74 - 76 but not all had a single warning lamp filter. Some Medium duty trucks had the fuel gauge at the bottom of the tach and an air gauge in the lower left hole. The MD trucks could also be had with diesel engines that were not available in the 10-30 trucks. |
