Looking in East Tennessee
I've been lurking for a while now but have been lusting after this 67-72 body style truck for quite a bit longer. I have a 70 model corvette that I bought around 99 or so. I've touched every nut and bolt on that one over the years some more than once. It's had LS power since around 06. Power Rack and pinion, 5 speed, leather, black on black with a black cloth top and black hard top. That car will drive anywhere. It's been a ton of fun. I am now wanting to pick up one of these trucks to see what I can do with it. I can do just about anything wrenching that needs to be done. It's metal work I am inexperienced at and looking at most everything available, at a decent price, is gonna need some lovin. My wife says I need to build a garage first before buying the truck. I believe she is onto something there.

Reviving an old thread.
I just last Thursday, 5-22-25, picked up new to me 1970 C10 CST. It's an clean slate. Someone started blew it apart, started working on it and lost interest. There are several missing pieces. Hopefully I haven't bitten off more than I can handle. BTW, if you read the top part of the post, I am finishing up my 30x40 garage project and the "new" truck is already parked inside. |

I'm going to try and get over there this year. I'm a little reluctant to pre-register because several shows that I did, got rained out.(C10s in the valley and hurricane Helene) Do you know if it will be possible to register at the gate on the day(s) of the show? Thanks Whit |
