150 miles in the square today

Today was a heck of a landmark in my build. I picked my truck up two years ago with a blown engine, moldy paint, and an interior that Joe Dirt wouldn't ride in. Countless weekends and late nights worth of work earned today's drive, and I was able to cruise down the country roads in style with CCR and Stevie Ray Vaughn keeping me company. In total I put 150 new miles on the odometer and the EFI earned me back 14mpg, which I don't think was too shabby given the fair sized camshaft nested between the cylinders.

I figured it would be a good motivator for somebody out there to hear that one was brought back from the dead. But, the best compliment of all came from the drive through window girl who gave a wink and said "that's a pretty nice truck".

Well...thank'ya ma'am

It's a Holley Sniper kit. It's simple enough to install and works okay. Occasionally I'll run into a quirk or something, but 99% of the time it works really well.

Always good when you can get out and drive them. Glad she ran well for you!
