c10 core support repair pic needed. or repair part
 

I am in the middle of repairing my core support. I need a pic of the bracket that mounts the core support to the frame. I can't find a pic of a good bracket mine is too far gone. I need to know what it looks like, so I can recreate it. I would like a close up pic if possible. Or if anyone knows if they sale a repair bracket that would work as well.

Get er done! Thinking out loud here, are you talking about the core support mount where the bolt goes through? Or the other area?

Think I would just smash some metal around, heat, bend, twist and warp the sucker.

The core support sits on bushings. Maybe I'm just dense, but there is not bracket that bolts the core to the frame.

A few pics...you can see the bushings. Mine are a bit bigger than stock due to a 3/4-1" body lift.

its a reinforcement bracket that is built into the support its not a removable part.

They go here on the inside of the core support, also if possible if any one has a pic of the lower radiator mounts installed I would like a pic of that as well and if they are bolted on or welded on and where they are placed.

Here's a couple pics of the ones I made for my core support. I don't have any dimensions to help you with but I used 14 ga. to make the parts

Awesome! Thank you both so much! That is exactly what I needed.

Now I just need to make the brackets. I wish I had these pics before I started. It looks like I made two spots to long, I will need to trim them for the lower radiator mounts to fit.

Page 556 in the Chassis service manual. Its listed in this site. Tried to copy and past the picture in Adobe wont let me paste it.

It shows the exact area your looking for in pencil.
